nothing, the staff, and the Hotel are horrible
I reserved and paid for a reservation at the regency hotel, garland, tx, but when I arrived at the hotel, even with a short line, it took over 90min for me to finally get a room key because the 4 people behind the front desk insisted that I did not have a reservation at all, they were very rude about everything, even the hotel manager told me to step to the side, and that he was not interested in helping me so, they continued to get people who did not have reservations, into rooms, as I stood to the side waiting. After sitting on hold with Booked.net, being bounced around to different agents, Booked.net faxed something over to the hotel and the hotel said that they could not honor it, yet after having to debate, with the staff, about the validity of my reservation, for another 30min, a young lady walked up to the front desk, who created my room key easily, as she was handing the key to me, the hotel manager, walks up, snatches the key, and says, what the hell are you foing, it doesn't work like that. Then, they debated more, as my created key is still sitting on the front desk, finally, the key was handed to me, without words, or directions to the room, so, I walked around the dingy, smelly, smoke filled hallways to finally find the room, written on the key envelope, the room was not clean, the heater did not work, it was snowing outside, there was hair with stains on all of the towels, there looked to of been fur on the floor, most of the lights did not work, the fridge did not work, the Phone did not w, the microwave did not work, there were exposed wires visibly coming out of the walls, there was a sticky substance all over the phone, and all over the counters, then, the next morning, I woke up to the hotel staff violently knocking on doors, yelling wake up, including my door which had a do not disturb sign on it.
